They say

 They say I still have a long way,
But it already feels too much.
They say they’ll be there all the way,
But we’ve already lost touch.

They say I have to plan my life,
I’m thinking what to watch tonight.
They say I need to be perfect,
I think, a perfect mess I might.

Do they even think I care
About the things that they say?
I do what I want and they just stare
Like I just bought a car and they’ll have to pay.

They say I need to be kind,
While I sit back and enjoy my life.
They say I have an impure mind,
And I’m pretty sure we’ll stay in strife.

They’ll keep saying no matter what,
Don’t let them cloud my mind.
Keep going because I know what I want,
They’ll keep saying because they’re blind.

So when they say, do what you want
And then just come around and haunt.
Whatever I do they just want to taunt,
Yet I do what I want,
And they’ll keep saying;
You’re wrong,
Not strong.
But I know what I want,
And they’ll keep saying;
You’re wrong,
Ain’t strong.
They’ll keep saying.
