A story of a Girl.

A story where a girl wonders in the meadows
And thinks the world is made of roses,
Little does she know about the thorns in the shadows,
With which her imagination closes.

When the girl is out of her bubble
And realizes the truth about the world,
She hopes not to get into trouble,
As she remains furled.

With the cruelty on the look,
To hunt down innocence and compassion,
The girl with her comic book,
Stays where the dark is in fashion.

The girl was told she was not good enough
To be a unicorn in the field of horses,
And that she was not that tough
To fight against the world’s forces.

A fool would think the girl would give up
To the world with many faces,
Was not the best but knew she was good enough
To live in a world of spiral staircases.

Standing up to every odd in her way,
The girl now knows her path and destination,
And with determination everyday,
She knows she can resist her temptation.

A story where a girl masters to live in this world;
With stones thrown and flowers grown,
With times of sharp vision and sometimes blurred.
But in the end, she leaves it to be world she had known.
